Here's a question for you...

Why isn't Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager part of the OS? It's in KDE, and it's easy to use. It makes no sense that this feature isn't part of the regular windows operating system.

Hell, Microsoft even gives them away for free. Why not just include these in the OS as 'features' rather than downloads.

I personally use TweakUI, ALT-TAB Replacer, and of course Virtual Desktop Manager. Maybe the reason some of these aren't on the disc, but rather free downloads is because some of them like the Power Calculator mimic Mac software.

Just a thought.

(PS... no comments about my desktop.)

MJ just got this while spell checking something.

I is sure that Microsoft wouldn’t do anything wrong.

Paint It Black White

I have scrubbed my skin, scalded my hands, broke out the lava, but the paint still won't come off. In some strange twist of fate, the activities my school threw for Martin Luther King Day have left me splattered an unnatural shade of white.

I was there a little before seven in the morning, freezing because the temperature hovers around 30° most days. It's hard to believe that we were all wearing sandals and in our shirt sleeves just over a week ago. The weather in North Carolina has always been slightly bi-polar, but its worse than ever now. You should not have highs of 80° and highs of 25° in the same month, much less the same week. All and all it was a pretty good day though. We were inside painting cinderblock walls and didn't notice the weather so much.

I got to hang out with Micah yesterday while we painted. Micah's a cool guy. He's smart, but he never makes you feel like you're stupid. I like that because I know a lot of smart people, which means I often feel stupid. I wish I didn't, but it's true. He likes to talk about books, but never makes you feel guilty because you haven't read them. Micah's one of the few people I know that I can feel safe admitting I don't have an answer.

I also got to spend time with a friend I hadn't seen in a while last week. I mean... God, I don't know what I mean. Or maybe I do, but I don't want to say it. It's just that I know the friend reads this, and hell they probably know who I'm talking about right now. Hell... this is one of those times I wonder if I should blog at all.

I can't decide if I want to share my all life with you guys or none at all. All I know is that I've tried putting just the pieces, but it leaves me looking like a bad drawing, a pencil sketch of a painting. If I keep this up, maybe one day I'll just be a synopsis, my very own CliffsNotes. If I don't start opening up, I'll have to wrap myself in a yellow and black cover and hope there's a test in the near future.
